Not allowing text modification in code brackets

All forums need a place for all the posts for people in the community to rant about things not relating to what the forum is about. This is that forum.

Not allowing text modification in code brackets

Post by GD » Mon Oct 18, 2004 2:40 am

Being able to alter the display of code when using the code brackets is really helpful, was it being disabled intentional?

Code: Select all

This is red
this is bold
does not work, yet
This is red
this is bold
this does.
Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one, but most of them stink.

Some kind of exploit. remember when all the < and > changed to < and > ?

It used to work fine, but I think the change to fix exploit disabled it in some way I suppose. I don't really know the full story of it.

The code bracket disables processing of any code that is inside it, otherwise it wouldn't be a very effective code bracket.

Edit to note that I would appreciate at least the color tag to be enabled inside the code bracket, it would make it a little bit easier to have edits and updates.
Reading . . . it's not just for me.
