Would like a macro or an idea on how to write one to get my casting skills up while I'm chatting with people. Any ideas? I saw the stuff on /cast "spell name" in the read me, but am trying to figure out how to make it wait till the recast is up and stop when i'm out of mana.

Code: Select all
Sub Main
#include spellcast.inc
:loop
/call cast "Some lame ass spell"
/delay 28
/goto :loop
/return
Increase the delay if it has more then standard refresh time.
Smokey the Lax says only you can prevent reproduction.

Code: Select all
|Spell Casting Skillup
|updated after Drumstix42 pointed out I left in misc bs code from another mac
#include spellcast.inc
Sub Main
/declare haveMana bool outer FALSE
|
|Begin main
|
:main
/if (${Me.PctMana}>=100) {
/varset haveMana TRUE
/if (${Me.Sitting}) {
/sit off
}
}
:doit
/if (${haveMana}) {
/call Cast "spellYouWantToCast" gem1
}
:wait4mana
/if (${Me.PctMana}<=10) {
/varset haveMana FALSE
/if (${Me.Standing}) {
/sit
}
}
/goto :main
/return
This script just checks for mana, if you have fullmana, it casts a spell (in red) you choose (put the full proper name you want to cast there), if mana drops under 10% sit and med full, rinse and repeat

Lol Hytiek... /doevents? What events?
Here's my suggestion:
Code: Select all
Sub Main
:MedLoop
/if (${Me.PctMana}<20) {
/echo Medding...
/if (${Me.Standing}) /sit
/delay 6s
/goto :MedLoop
}
:CastLoop
/call cast "Spell Name Here"
/delay 60s ${Me.SpellReady["Spell Name Here"]}
/if (${Me.PctMana}<20) {
/goto :MedLoop
} else {
/goto: CastLoop
}
/return
Replacing
red with spell name in both instances.
*Note* from whatever patch ago, if your sitting and you cast a spell, you'll auto stand.

Doh, busted for on-the-fly hacking a mac I wrote last night to enchant clay ...
Lesson learned... never ninja edit a macro while eating and at work ..
Also ... (/bat back)
Code: Select all
:CastLoop
/call cast "Spell Name Here"
won't work without including spellcast.inc or some other random variation hopefully theoneandonly will realize that
