problem with....

Post by Xecros » Mon Nov 10, 2003 10:24 am

running MQ. I've been running MQ successfully for sometime now. Always i would wait until the zip file was available, i'd download it, compile it, get the latest offsets and i was always golden.

Well, after the nov 5th patch. I got the latest offsets and MQ was working, mostly. It kept listing everyone has a trader no matter what zone i was in.

Today, i finally get off my lazy arse and download the latest zip file. I compile it, ensure the offsets are up to date and now i can't play EQ. Everytime i try to play EQ with MQ loaded, a windows error box pops up saying that eqgame.exe encountered an error and crashes out on me.

I thought, "hmmmm, maybe it's fixed in the CVS" So I download the latest CVS, compile it, update the offsets and i get the same problem :(

Can anyone help?

I compile under VS version 6. I've had no problems compiling in the past and compiling the latest cvs shows no errors.

I am running winXP if that tells you anything. I can zip up the MQ directory i have compiled and send it to someone and they can see if they get the same problem, and/or, someone can send me there compiled copy and see if i get the same problem....

send me a PM for my email address...

I noticed that the zip file was updated yesterday. I just downloaded it, compiled it and tested it.

I no longer have my problem!! :D I works perfectly...

next question though.....i got a new popup window telling me MQ is active, and, I can't get rid of it. Is there a way to get rid of it?
