Get out of front arc

Post by A slacking ranger » Thu Oct 30, 2003 8:54 pm

Hi!

Is there some math genious who could come up with a Sub that could be called that would move the character out of the frontal arc of the target.
And also move a bit extra so that if the mob is slowly turning around the character wouldnt have to move around as much and it would look a little more "real". maybe adding some sort of randomness to it could help.

I have tried a few "rogue get behind" scripts but they are quite messy and it looks quite wierd in game when using it. any ideas are welcome.

There are a few ways I can think of to do it...

One method could use vectors.
