Putty

Trying to get the CVS client working, and I went through the instructions on Sourceforge's site, and I downloaded some software named Putty. I was supposed to log in with my username and password in some MSdos window that popped up, and I entered my username, but when I tried to enter a password, nothing happened when I pressed the keys. I "entered the pass" anyways, hoping it would do any good, even though I couldn't actually see any letters (or *'s) showing. But it didn't...
Sorry for this somewhat Noob question, but please help.

MQ does not ask for a username, just a password.

Make sure that the telnet server is enabled, you are connecting to the right port, and entering the right password. All of these are defined in your .ini file.

I had that kind of problem when i started using MQ.

Make sure that MQ is compiled correctly.

Edit your macroquest.ini so that it looks like this

Run MQ

Run EQ in EQWindow

Run Telnet and enter only your password

That should do it.
