Getting a map without Loy

Whats the best way to pull this one off? i am new to eq and dont feel like paying for loy is there any other possiblity to have a map without paying more?

Xylobot has a pop-up map as well... but wait, you said you wanted to pull that off without spending money. Xylobot will cost ya ... never mind.

Offset EQ so you can always use map.

I got the LoY map window to show up when I run a macro. When I pressed backspace it showed up. I dont know how. I don't have LoY so I don't know how.

The newbie/starter zones have the in-game maps enabled regardless if you purchased LoY or not.
