I set my alarm clock for patch time today just so I could attack this thing as soon as it happened... What has happened is not good.
Firstly, it appears the OldUI has been removed *completely*. The new EQGame.exe is over 2000 pages shorter than the old one, and the left/right click offsets are nowhere to be found. We're just going to have to find the NewUI ones.
The click offsets aren't the only ones I can't find, and this is why I believe many of the structs may have changed again. Not all of them, because I was able to find many of the offsets. I would post them, but it won't do any good considering they are mostly the ones that are trivial to MQ's most important functions.
Furthermore, additional checking has been implemented for offset hacks, as well as other 3rd party applications like MQ that use "detours". (Not actually 'checking' in some cases per se, more like roadblocks...) Also, we don't know if this checking is setting off any alarms at Sony when it is tripped. I would suggest, as others have, to discontinue use of any memory-intrusive 3rd party applications until we get this sorted out.
With Plaz being MIA and those of us actually looking at the code dwindling in numbers, this is gonna take a while to fix. It would be nice if we could all get together and assign projects or something so we don't dupe work, btw. Maybe someone can start a thread in the dev form on that topic.
I've got over 300 pages of source code printed out that I spread all over my table at SubWay at lunchtime, all over my desk while I'm at work, and all over my kitchen table when I'm at home and I have only reached one conclusion thus far...
I can't do it alone, that's for sure...
