Zoning with an active macro

Post by Zorg » Mon Jan 06, 2003 1:21 pm

I've heard about a bug that can cause items in your bank or inventory to disappear if you zone with a macro active, but despite doing this hundreds of times, it's never happened to me? Am I lucky, is it just super rare, or does the macro actually have to be carrying out a certain command to cause it?

Is there any way to completely prevent any chance of the bug occuring and work it into a macro? Say have an event that looks for LOADING PLEASE WAIT, and pauses everything, then resumes it when it gets the 'You have entered ZoneX' message? I'm working on a travel macro, and moving across zonelines seems to be the big catch

Macro quest now pauses until zoning has finished. You will notice that when you first zone nothing happens for a while and then your macro continues.

This stops the losing of items but is a bit of a pain cause I have a script that runs my druid through about 14 or so zone points and all that time stood about adds up :-(
