WTB Complete program for automating 3 chars on second comp

Post by cheese1144 » Thu Feb 12, 2009 7:43 pm

Im looking for a complete program ( no code for me to compile , no confusing crap ) That i can use to run 3 accounts on a second computer with simple routines ( Preferrably manually )

I just returned to EQ1 from EQ2 and i was using a simple program from macrogoblin.com to run a healer and 2 wizards and it was flawless , it had a simple interface that stayed on the tanks screen , you hit a button and the pre programmed routine would run.

Ive been on the internet for 2 days looking now for something similar in EQ1 and all i seen are sites that want money before they show you a dam thing. Well macrogoblin.com gave me a free trial , and i bought their software ( Happily )

So these companies that want money before they show me anything get nothing.

I know macroquest is VERY Advanced for this stuff , and complex. I want something with an interface i can understand , i know people out here have pre made stuff that works well , im willing to buy it if it does what i want.

Im looking to run 2 simple dps classes and a simple healer from my main comp ( They play windowed on other pc ) And the only functions i seek are to cast heals ( CH , Quick heal , and group heal ) And a nuke on the wizards ( maybe 2 different kinds )

Is such a program available complete and boxed up here in macroquest? If so , show me where , ive spent 3 hours on this site looking at complex snippets codes and stuff that just plain confuses me.

I know alot use it to run automated chars , which id be fine with , if it had an interface i could understand.

Any help?

well thing about MQ2 is its made so that you compile it yourself and theres plenty of free compilers out there...but I share your pain. A friend of mine tasked me with something similar, him and I both gladly paid for premium accounts on here, which was a small donation for the devs hard working time spent on this lovely utility. I know of a few "bot" macro's but their posted in the VIP section. Theres some info about them in the Wiki though.

browse over
http://www.macroquest2.com/wiki/index.php/AutoBot.mac
and
http://www.macroquest2.com/wiki/index.php/ModBot

Those are the most common that I know of.

But they both require some extra plugins which you have to compile also

but don't fear you can get Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Express Edition for free
http://www.microsoft.com/express/vc/

I hope this helps you. I'm not the most skilled on here, but since you said you wanted to buy I figured I would give you some info about the stuff since its only like a $10 donation for a lifetime of entertainment

I know if I wasn't so broke I would gladly pay these guys some more money even though they give me shit when I make my great noobs posts that should have been nothing more then common sense hehe, but its all in good fun.

Yes and I would say that is pretty typical. I know a few folks that can run as many as 5 instances of modbot on a laptop with 2.5 GB of ram.

Much of it is how powerfull the system is.

Frankly your biggest issue IMO is the time investment to compile all the plugins you'll need / want and the macro selection and configuration.
