compiling error

when i try to compile mq2 using Microsoft Visual C++ Toolkit 2003 i get the error Fatal error C1189: #error : Unknown CPU Architecture!

does anyone know what the problem is? i searched for it on here on wiki and on google but could not find anything regarding my error.

Sounds like a Microsoft Visual C++ Toolkit 2003 + your system problem rather than anything to do with MQ2 compilation. Not enough information supplied by you to even speculate really...

Having said that:

If you are not an expert, I'd advise following the directions in the wiki or the online documentation.

Been using VS2005 for a while now. With the latest zip, MQ2-20060129.zip,

I am goign to assume that where it states that a Mac file format has been found should to be converted to DOS or Linux but I'm kinda stupid at how to begin to convert something like that

I always use winzip to Unzip all the files never had any problems prior to this when compiling after I've unzipped
