Jboots

Post by tdklol » Thu Feb 24, 2005 6:01 pm

Could anyone help with a command to use Jboots if the buff falls? My Jboots are in my 7th slot in my inventory.

I am not a good coder by any means and haven't been able to get other's codes regarding casting items to work. I am trying to put it into the Hunter.mac. Any help is greatly appreciated =)

Put your jboots on an action slot and use /keypress.

Thank you for the reply. =) Its working great now. Just wondering if there is a way to right click on something in your inventory without setting it up as a hotkey? I've seen code for finding items in bags, just not using items from inventory. Thanks again for any replies.

here is the code i use for my Fabled JBoots, it will be easy for you to modify and add to any macro

Code: Select all

/if (!${Me.Buff[Bootstrutter's Blessing].ID} && !${Me.Buff[Spirit of Wolf].ID} && !${Me.Buff[Spirit of Eagle].ID}) {
   /cast item "Fabled Journeyman's Boots"

You could bind a key. With MQ2ExchangeItem, you could use something like the following (replace Silken Augmenter's Shoes with whatever boots you wear). You could put it in your server_name.cfg file:

/custombind add jboots
/custombind set jboots /multiline ; /exchange "Journeyman's Boots" feet;/itemnotify feet rightmouseup;/timed 21 / exchange "Silken Augmenter's Shoes" feet
/bind jboots j

then just hit J whenever you wanna activate them. Keep your jboots in a bag if ya want, it'll swap it out, activate, and swap them back in.
