group helper?

Post by beergod » Tue Oct 11, 2005 3:14 pm

Hi Gang, I have been a long time user of a similar macro product, that had one of the best macro's I have ever seen for a game! this Macro, allowed you to controll another toon of any class on another box via a private chat channle. there was little set up of the script other then some security stuff, and spells.ini file listing the spells location in your spell bok, the gem you store it in, and a nick name to call it.

Any ways as support for this product has slipped and support for the script it self has completly slipped, I am looking for a replacement of my "bots". I was looking though and saw what I thought was a similar macro called genbot and wanted to ask if in fact this is a full featured Controll macro enabling me to send tells to my "Bots" adn have them cast spells, and engage my target!

can anyone fill me in?

If you are interested in the genbot macro, post in the genbot thread.
Reading . . . it's not just for me.

I used genbot when I first started using MQ2, it's pretty simple to set up, and from what you are asking it does and then some. If you want to best "bots" get class specific macros via VIP or make them yourself. Genbot is a great macro, but its very generic which makes it great for newer users.

Once you donate for VIP you'll have access to plugins to manage communication to your bots over a secure channel, easier movement of your bots during combat plus the Autobot macro which will allow you to automate practically every aspect of most classes.

Genbot was popular when people played EQ under Desqview and OS/2.

Autobot is what you want. Donate, you won't be disappointed. I currently use it to play my SK, Enc, Clr, Bard, Bst, and Dru on one computer.
