Just as a test, could you try changing the code in the macro to something like:

Code: Select all

Sub Cast(string spellName, string spellType, string timerVal)
    /declare timer giveUpTimer ${timerVal}
Just to see if it avoids crashing.

I noticed in a test macro that I was playing with that the following would cause a crash:
#event TELLCAST "#1# tells you, 'CAST #2# at #3#'"

Sub Event_TELLCAST(String all, String from, String spell)

....
/return

(Note: there is no 3rd parameter in the sub, and there should be).

I am not sure if this used to CTD - it's the kind of bonehead thing I do all the time - but if not, then probably there is something related to a change in the code in and around GetFuncParam(n) in the macro processing stuff.

All speculation, free - just for you though.
