Mob Type

Post by mamba666 » Fri Aug 06, 2004 3:28 pm

I was just wondering if Macroquest had an ability to tell what the Mob Type is i.e. Undead, Animal or Monster. Any others?

This would certainly help me find charmable mobs for my druid or necro.

Undead is definately BodyType. There are 2 for undead, one for normal undead (3) and one for undead pets (8). Disassemble eqgame.exe and look for the message that says the spell only works on undead. You'll see it compare the bodytype.

There's a bodytype for animals (21) and one for summoned (28) but I'm not certain they are used for this purpose although it would seem likely.
