I am basically re asking the same thing that many users have asked. I have spent 2 days now going through the search engine and read the read me files. I do not know if I downloaded the right thing even. I been reading on the programing of your own macros and i got a good basic grasp on how to do it. HOWEVER my whole main problem has been getting MQ to work. Is there a online guie that shows pretty much step by step instructions on how to get MQ working? im currently using MQ-IRC-20021001a. I got past the problem i was having with the client error and my new problem is It dont say MQ is working. I dont expect someone to use there time on writing a long manual just for me. Just want to know if someone could direct me to a link that talks about the setup. Thanks much

look at you MacroQuest.ini file, particularly the filter settings. It's likely that you are filtering the MQ is running message.

Edit your EQGAME.INI in your MacroQuest folder and post the contents of the following lines:

MacroQuestVersion=
and
ClientVersion=

This will let us know which version you have, and which offset file you're running (assuming you haven't manually edited either line).

(S)He is running IRC version, it has the latest offsets, including the new ones.

The default is to filter all messages, like I said above, look at the ini file, turn off the filter if you wnat to see it.
