new version trouble compiling?

Post by Semper-Fi » Thu Jun 17, 2004 10:04 pm

Ok EDITING, I downloaded the 16th's date and the 17th's date for MQ2. I can compile the 16th just fine with the exception that it will not create a macroquest2.exe file. and the 17th is giving me problems. It seems the macroquest2.dsw does not want to work and will not list MQ2Chatfiles, MQ2cusombinds and so forth when its in VC++. It doesnt allow me to build anything either.

So here is the real question, does anyone else have problems with the new .dsw or is it just me? And what am i doing wrong with the 16th. I batch build and then no macroquest2.exe im confused and very frustrated

To add a project in VC6:
- right click on "Workspace 'macroquest2'
- click on "Insert project into workspace'

You should get a popup with all the directories. Double click into each one that you want (MQ2Main, MQ2Chat,....) and double click on the .dsp. Repeat for all the plugins that you want.

It compiles fine for me.
