Salutations,
1) open eqgame.ini, paste into it the thing from the top of the general section (newest offsets). save + close
2) d-click MacroQuest.exe
3) load EQW normally and get into game
4) You _should_ see the line 'Macroquest is now Active' after you are in game. If you don't, try typing '/ec whe!' and see if it tells you the command does not exist, if you do not get the command does not exist message, then type /filter macros all.

OK, call me an ass, but is it just me, or are all the wrong people starting to use MQ now?

I'm sorry, but if you're new to computers, new to EQ, or feel lost on the InterNet without AOL, MQ is not the thing for you, and it's a sign you should go back to using an Etch-A-Sketch.
