My reaction was "Bah, this makes no sense, it's stupid, the readme's wrong, it's....."

Oh. Nevermind.

*fixes all macros in 10 minutes*

Seriously- all the people who object to much of the way this works (no, it isn't perfect Lax) haven't tried it yet.

i love the MQ2Data system, and the new DataVars looks very nice too, can't wait to mess with it. this new system can do more, and do it better than the old one... and its design is just much more logical and all around easier to use...

im fairly new to MQ, but i learned the old system, wrote a few macros with it.. then started using the new system and i like it so much better.
Nice job on it

Something is definitely wrong with this new system. I say this because it is starting to make sense to me, and that's not supposed to happen.

If a scrub like me can grok this new system, any monkey with a keyboard can. Bravo, devs.

I agree.

I was really intimidated by MQ2Data at first. It was only after MQ2Parms was removed that I forced myself to sit down and look at it... and it's as simple, if not simpler, than MQ2Parms. There's stuff I like about the new system even more than the old system, to tell the truth.

This post was a lifesaver, I found myself looking back to it quite often:

I can live quite happily with the changes.

I have a group of MQ2 pages bookmarked, and that's about the third or second page I load. First is The Warden's cheap-o "use MS's Test Drive VS.Net site," because it's so cheap and efficient. Plus that girlie Avatar is Yummy! :D

Anyway, since this is supposed to be an OOP approach, I want to know when we get Phase 5, and all of the macro commands become executable commands of the Top-Level Objects, LOL!

At least, there are always whiners that hate to change, twits that hate to compile their own code, and full-blown Stupid TURD-HEADS, that ask questions that have been asked and answered at least fifteen times a month! Otherwise, I might not be so Cranky! :P
Okay, okay, I take it back - "UnF--k you."

“If you play the WinXP CD backwards,
you get a satanic message.”
“That's nothing, if you play it forward,
it installs WinXP.”

erm...

Yeah, it's better the new way. Much better... I could say like tons more but what's the point?
If you can't do it, RTFM. If you still can't do it, wait for someone smarter than you to fix it so you can.
