i have a need to be able to read the ini files in the eq dir. i am using another macro program and like what i see here...its a kickin script and i want to convert it. <dosent matter to me that i am a real noob>.


so can i do this ?

you can /mqlog to output text to the log

otherwise no. creates too many problems, like trojan horse MQ scripts.. dear god it's insane but someone would do it

If you are using xylobot as your other program, xylobot rocks for COM scripting, and MQ doesnt have that kind of functionality unless you write the C for it ...

File I/O is always on the maybe list, but due to file access issues its not been implemented

any thoughts on what you would like to see in it, file struct etc, and what uses?

keeping file access within a particular dir would be a good idea imho, as a starter for security ...

There is a program out there called eqwatcher that monitors log files and /notes to pass on instructions to the program... very interesting.

Xylobot does stack then?

I couldnt access xylobot.com a few days go think site was down.. that and winamp (When it was sharewarE) are the only two shareware programs ive ever paid for.
