Alt XP penalty for light blues?

Post by Tuna » Tue Dec 30, 2003 11:48 am

Right now I duo two characters, both level 59. After 100 kills of level 44 creatures, 100% alt exp, I get about 48% of an AA. The mobs are dark blue.

I'm wondering if I kill the same NPCs when I'm level 62 will they be worth less? Really don't want to spend the time XP'ing to 62 to find out I can no longer get alt xp at a normal rate.

If no one knows, or there is nothing but speculation, I will simply level to 62 and find out for myself. Please don't bother replying unless you have actual log files and %-aa to back up your claims. I'm not interested in anecdotal events like, "well d00d once i was in sol a and kill a light blue and got like 10aa at once."

You will get less since the mob is worth less to you at 62. Even though a AA point always takes the same amount of XP to get the amount of XP you get from the mob is still based on your level vs. it's.

It's either a 25% or 50% penalty (or they are only worth 25%, can't remember), in any case, light blues are worth substantially less than a blue (even if the light blue is only 1 level below blue).
