Greetings all,

In response to gnome001 who said:
just use a sell macro.... there is one posted here in the forum.. as for buying.. its easy enough to shift click and buy stacks.. fully automated macros like that make me cringe about afk macroers...
I agree about the aversion to unattended macroing, however I see people that do so are taking their own risks, to each his own I suppose. I did not see a sell macro, perhaps I am just missing the obvious, that would obviousaly solve the majority of my problems. I wanted help with an automated process as it would be nice to be able to put 10 stacks each of a three component combine on my char, and have him sell successes as he fills up, which I am finding a bit over my head. I can live without it, but it would save me a lingering headache of only being able to do a couple stacks worth of combines at a time for jewlecrafting.

I guess I am saying it is more the repetative selling than the buying, if that makes anyone with a working combine and sell macro more willing to share it. ;) Buying was just another way around the filling up problem.

Bug/Warning

I was using this macro this evening to do some smithing, and somehow the macro destroyed the forge. I literally mean that, the forge depopped.

Not quite sure what was going on, I tried again at a second forge.

The same thing happened and a second forge was depopped.

At that point I camped fast. I didnt hang around long enough to experiment.

Possible clue: both times I had insufficent space in my inventory for all the returned items. Both times I was left with a nodrop item on my cursor.

Edit: not related to full inventory. Its happened since when Ive had plenty of space.

I purchased the Jewellry bag in PoK and it works with "Jewelry Making" i.e. :
/mac combine KEEP "Jewelry Making" "Platinum Bar" "Jade"

and remember :
you can find out the name you need to use for a container by typing "/echo $pack(0,combine)" when it's put in your first inventory slot, just change 0 for 0-7 depending on slot.

Serberus
Concerning the enviroments depopping I doubt it is due to the "speed" of the combines at least, adding a delay on them doesnt solve my problem since they usually "depop" before first combine. If get a work around will post here under.

I recently started using this, used it on celestial essence and lacquered opals and it worked great, used it on opal encrusted steins, and it had a bit of a problem. After the first combine it put the sculpting tools back in the pottery wheel, and then it went crazy trying to clean out the pottery wheel.... end result was that the first time I closed the wheel hitting esc, and my game crashed, second time it kept going until it depopped the wheel..... I fixed it by adding to autoinventory's here
:COMBINE_ClearCursor
/if n $freeinv(space)<COMBINE_FREEINVSPACE /if n $freeinv(space)<=0 /call COMBINE_OutofSpace

/autoinventory
/autoinventory

/varset COMBINE_Combined 0
/click left auto
/if "$cursor()"=="TRUE" /goto :COMBINE_ClearCursor
that quite handily did the trick and is in a spot that doesn't interfere with the destroy routine =)

Shali,

In response to your question, I am using the version from the top of this thread with the modification that Crun suggested just above your post. I need some quick food the other day so I bought 5 stacks of batwings and 5 stacks of fish. Presto food was done in 30 seconds.

For reference the syntax was

/macro combine keep "Oven" "Batwings" "Fresh Fish"

THe macro will open all of your containers in inventory so it would be wise to make sure none of them are positioned on top of one another. Same goes for the combiner and auto equip area if you are looking to keep the combined product.

Depopping Enviro Stuff

Hey all,

I have been running the script for sometime now. Just a suggestion on how to keep your enviro containers from popping. I have found it only happens when your mouse is over or near then container when you run the script. To solve this start the script with your mouse in the lower left corner then start the script. You should have no further problems with the container poofing...

Take care

hi, im trying this with celestial essence but it keeps crashing EQ. I pretty much took the mac and left it as is. When it runs, it takes one ingrediant, but doesnt put it in the combine container. Then it crashes. Is the combine container supposed to be in a particualr slot stated in the macro code somewhere? thx for your help.

everythign is workign really well except for clicking combine, for some reason the mouse wanders about 3 inches to the right of the combine button and clicks over and over lookin for the button in the wrong spot

can this get fixxed easily?

Could be that you need to "save" the positions. Open everything, close everything, then re open it. That essentially "saves" the locations.

Could also be a problem with a custom UI. try a /loadskin default, save the positions and try again

does the addition CRUN added with the /autoinventory fix the problem of finished combines going into bags? Unless my inventory slots are open, the finished product wont be put anywhere and it crashes everything. It would be nice if I could have all bags in inventory and the macro combine and put finished product in an open slot in bags. Make sense?
Thanks
