Crime doesn't pay

Today i got into work and there was this big commotion, everyones like holy shit yada yada yada. So one of my coworkers comes up to me and says someone tried to rob us last night (I work at dunkin donuts so there is always someone there baking or whatever). I'm like holy crap that's crazy, so i go in the back and i see bullet holes through the managers office door where the safe is located (kept open all the time). They keep a hefty amount of money in there too. So i go into the back and the manager is talking to one of the other managers. I was like what the hell happened last night? So the owner went ahead and explained to me that around 2:30 am, someone rings the doorbell to the back. The girl finishing (frosting donuts etc) looked at the view hole thing and didn't see anyone. She opened up the door and found a gun to her head. The 2 robbers that came in tied her up and sat her down against the wall. They then went to the front cash registers and tried to get them open. They are stupid because they didn't know about the little switch on the bottom of the register. So they can't figure that out and they move to the filing cabinet which the bottom section holds the cash box for making change during the day. The hammer at that and can't get that open so they finally move onto getting into the manager's office. They blow a few holes into the door trying to bust the lock. It doesn't work. So they finally give up and leave. The girl tied up finally managed to free herself and call the cops. The 2 guys got caught because they told just about everyone where they work (a rival dunkin donuts). That they had a sure fire way to hold up our store...I'm like WTF they are idiots. So, these 2 guys are probly facing life in prison for pulling a gun and shooting it and they didn't even get anything out of it. The moral of this story is......Don't start forest fires
