Salutations,
You mean paying for macroquest Pro which had click or something like that? yeah, that was an april fools joke. Please donate though, who knows, it may mean a dev skipping work to work on /click (I don't guarantee anything)

Why donate for a great piece of sourcecode...?
Easy answer:
Two things you can do with it... compile and use... and... thats more important... learn something *grin*.

I think you guys do a great job. I haven't used MQ since /click stopped working, but I am constantly checking to see if it has been fixed yet. I would gladly pay for a version of MQ with /click restored to functionality as I am sure others would. However, I realize that the development takes your time so I am glad to donate in the hopes that it will help make it worth your while.

Keep up the good work and hope to see MQ back and better than ever soon!

lol As you well know L124RD, I HAVE been skipping work to work on /click... making some progress, but gonna be a while yet.

Meanwhile the rest of you keep working on them structs and things, since that causes a heck of a lot more problems than one nonworking function.

Hey, what kinda donation would it take to get something under my stars.. I noticed developers have the title developer right under the stars..is there anything Contributors could get as well? such as ..well i dont even know..but getting kewl names built into the stars would be fun!

Anyway, finally gettin my damn credit card bill at the end of this month and will donate :D and consider the above seriously if u can ;) cuz I kinda like the look of having CAPITILIZED ARIAL FONT under the Developers stars (with the words DEVELOPER) of course..cept maybe instead u can stick PAIN IN THE ASS or something :D

yah..anyway, take it easy!

Casting KEI for DONATIONS at nexus stone. Hail me for an invite. DONATIONS accepted but not required. Thank You and Have a Nice Day :)

Funny Some part with hard earned plat for a simple spell but wont part with hard earned cash for a complex program that a) Saves alot of time b) Prevents paying even more $$$ for surgery because of carpal tunnel syndrome and c) Makes you that plat by increasing tradeskills and helping you bot/kill mobs .

It takes days for the devs to write/debug thousands of line of code and fix problems. While some sit and play and spend time with the game and their friends.

$1, $5, $10 or MORE it adds up and pays for something you would not have if the devs suddenly decided that they write it, they maintain it, they could keep it to themselfs and use it to do what they want with it or rewrite it and sell it for $50, $100 a crack.

Hmmmm I like it the way it is You code I DONATE and try to figure things out on my own.

I win, You win, We all win.

Thank You

No Direction

Post by LordZen » Sat Aug 30, 2003 9:26 am

No that was not directed at you it was just a general rant. Had to be done I am Quiet I read everthing and I dont know it all. It is frustrating when you are trying so hard to get something working (I do have it working) and have spent alot of time reading and trying to code and write macros to hear someone complain about the devs and how it is not working. Beware I say Beware cause LordZen is here and he is transforming into a CoDeMonKey and some day you may be complaining about me and I might not be as nice you see........

(I am not CraZy)

LOL thats funny, but i gotcha, i wouldnt ever complain to the devs :P Hell, i actually respect these people and i dont even know them. Some of em are prolly younger than me too and i'm practically bowing down to them like a servant :P

(just in mind not physical bodiness) lol..umm yah...basically they hold a lot of respect because they can do some pretty amazing stuff. They are great at their teamwork and give everyone a fair chance at learning.

thats a very far and few between bunch of assets in an opensource forum ;P

Anyway,

Later

Is this still the correct way to donate?

Post by GoatFoot » Sun Aug 31, 2003 1:45 am

Been using MQ again for the last few months. Thought now might be a good to donate again in appreciation for all the work the devs are putting into the lastest SOE related snafu's.

Just sent in my donation; not much, considering all the active devs that are putting their time in to this project, but hopefully it'll be enough to buy one of the lunches that they undoubtedly skip while helping the MQ community. :)

Salutations,
Thank you Keflex for your beautiful and wonderful donation, it is actually the most a single person has ever donated to the MacroQuest Project. Thank you.

I just sent in my donation... It's not much, but maybe you guys can split a whopper with fries or something.

Thanks for everything.
