Kicked to server select screen.

Experienced Members,

Please excuse me here here if this question has been answered. I did try to search the board and fix this on my own, but had no luck. As the subject states, I run MQ and get kicked to server select screen after about 3 mins of play. Is it a SRC or offset issue?

I used the SCR download from the main MQ page marked as SCR-20030308.

I used the eqgamin.ini from this post. http://macroquest2.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=2137
The one that said was double and triple checked.

Did I miss something?

Thanks in advance,

I believe this needs to be addressed as a sticky somewhere.

Currently, there is no working packaged release of the MQ code. The only way to get a working copy of MacroQuest is to check out the files from CVS (the link to that is on the main page, on the left). Only by obtaining those files (which include eqgame.ini) and compiling them successfully, will you be able to use MQ. (And even then, it's still a work-in-progress; I don't use the current version of the code since it's a bit unreliable. I'm giving it a few more days.)

Hope that solves your problem. 8)

If you need help with using macroquest CVS, click CVS on the main macroquest page and scroll down to the link that says "Basic Introduction to CVS and SourceForge.net (SF.net) Project CVS Services" Most of your questions should be answered in there.
