SetProcessAffinityMask for multi-core users

Post by motd2k » Fri Oct 27, 2006 11:39 am

Is there any chance a dev could throw a

Code: Select all

	SetProcessAffinityMask(GetCurrentProcess(), 1);
into the source - for us multi-core folk?

Use WinEQ2.

Not everyone wants to use WinEQ2, the crash on logging off gets annoying after awhile.

I stopped using WinEQ2 a while ago for several reasons, including the crashing and the inability to unload MQ2 while it was running. Anything that helps with dual core would be cool.

Go here:
http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processors/Tec ... 71,00.html

And download the AMD Dual-Core Optimizer for your processor.

I get crash on log off with or without WinEQ2. I don't think I could live without Picture in Picture (and exiting out of EQ to reload with WinEQ2 is how I know it crashes on exit without WinEQ2 loaded).

Thanks, Drumstix42.

[edit - suppose I'd better take this out... although it's still true....]
