I just put these new offsets on and each time i load EQ with MQ up, right after selecting my character, I wind up back at my desktop. No messages or anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Have you played since they added a couple of XML windows to the newui? And do you have EQUI.XML in your custom UI folder.

This was the largest contribution to kick to desktop recently.

Which version of MacroQuest are you running (and before you say the latest just check), version should be 11th Jan 2003, and can be found here.

The current offsets are 29th Jan 2003, as posted by MOTD2K on the first page.

Have you renamed MacroQuest.ini.dist to MacroQuest.ini ?

Kewl Glad to hear it. Now if only I could get the OldUI trick that Plaz was talking about to work I'll be in business. I wanna be able to work my trade skills some so I can at least be able to pursue some of the quests (Shawl Quest, Coldain Ring Quest) that requiree trade skills and not have to worry aobut bothering somene else to do it

I understand that I just wanna be able to get my tradeskills up to the trivials for each component needed for em. Farming for the no drop stuff I can deal with :D I'm the only 50+ member in my guild that hasn't done the quests yet lol

Ok new question/ problem, I changed the date code in the "eqgame.ini" to reflect the time/ date stamp of my "eqgame.exe" file, I run MQ and then EQ every thing loads fine but nothing works, I tryed "/help" to see if "/macro" would show up, it does not. I tryed other commands such as "/target npc nexus" that returns unknown command... FYI I did have it installed and running fine useing the old ui when the "NewUI=FALSE" switch in the "eqclient.ini" still worked, however now that the switch does not work I have been unsucessfull in geting ANY MQ functions to work, in both Win98 and WinXP
