Re: Detecting if I am the caster of a debuff

Im pretty sure thats how I wrote the line the way you wanted. /if (${Target.PctHPs}>=25 && !${Bool[${Target.Buff[Sunshock].ID}]} && ${Cast.Ready[10]}) /cast 10 if target has more than 25% hp and the target does not have Sunshock and gem 10 is ready then /cast 10 fyi, you can do that ...

Re: Detecting if I am the caster of a debuff

Here is how I would write the above line; /if (${Target.PctHPs}>=25 && !${Bool[${Target.Buff[Sunshock].ID}]} && ${Cast.Ready[10]}) /cast 10 I think the issue with the original line is; !${Target.Buff[Sunshock].ID} Because I cannot /echo this line with the "!" and get the de...

Re: Detecting if I am the caster of a debuff

you may have to insert a /delay 3 after you target the NPC or PC in order for the macro to read any of the debuff/dots landed on the target. Buffs/dots/debuffs do not show up instantly like it once did.

Re: 1st time start. Says "couldnt open macro file"

You may need to check your Macroquest.ini file to make sure MQ2 is looking for the mac in the same directory you left it in. You will get that error message if the file is not in the expected sub folder.

Bind Wound macro

In all the years Ive been play this game, I was never able to get the Bind Wound skill to max. I wrote this mac just to do that. I will admit, I have yet to get a toon to max out but it saves on the constant grind of mashing the button hours on end. Enjoy. Addendum and possibly educational reasons.....

Re: Not sure if this is a bug or not...

This issue has been resolved with help from discord chat. The issue came from the Macrquest config file under [Aliases] /useitem=/echo Use Item anytime I used /useitem in a macro. The MQ2 window would echo the item instead of activating the item. Im not sure how it got added or which macro is the cu...

Bristlebane's Party Favor - Bristlebane's Favor

A macro I wrote a few years back to track the Bristlebane's Party machine, enjoy. update; apparently Daybreak has thrown a curve ball since the original quest was introduced. Each server is set up differently and the party machine will be in a different zone, you will have to adjust the /varset inzo...

Not sure if this is a bug or not...

I just know Ive been fighting this forever. Everytime I have tried to use: /if (${FindItem[Blessed Spiritstaff of the Heyokah].Timer}==0) /casting "Blessed Spiritstaff of the Heyokah" item I get nothing... no error, no warning, no crash, no activation of the item. What I do get is a MQ2Cas...

Re: BuffsPopulated Feedback

First off, welcome back.

Secondly, Much has changed (since you probably last visited.) The most likely reason the line "${Target.Buff[Some Buff].ID}" comes back NULL is because its returning a numeric output rather then a TRUE/FALSE output.

My suggestion is search the Wiki. Good Luck.

And before you know it we've taken a nice short script and turned it into a 200 line macro. There to be said about KISS
but isnt that what Everquest does? Its amazing how many different scenarios and/or problems pop up trying to do a simple task.

Re: Macro causing performance issues

Kill, what OS is being used? Win XP, 7, 8? if its XP your on your own (or the YoYo plan) otherwise, it could be multiple reasons why eq is preforming badly. Certain firewalls will drag your system down and affect eq. (norton is a prime example) Too many back ground programs running. Defraging your H...
