Hey everyone, its been a really long time since i played eq, so long infact i forgot my old MQ fourm acct, hehe i didn't post much..

Well anyway i just came to say.. wow... i logged into eq today and found SO many changes, so many.. bad ones, i remember when being able to fully use MQ ment somthing, being able to design your own UI's to show coutdown timers, and now they have included this in the standard eq client.. how unfun...

Pets that zone with you? WTF? how retarded, that used to be part of the fun, having wasted mounds of plat on peridots to summon pets, <sigh> what a shame.

I really missed eq, then i logged in and it had changed so much its sickening, the lag is terrible, you can't find a zone with less than 100000 people in it, ele planes used to be a nice empty place on FV, now its overridden with people who train you. TRAIN YOU IN THE ELEPLANES!. now mind you i only logged in for a few hours, but i mean damn, i have never seen such chaos before, its has become FFXI =( and that is not a good thing... i am glad to see MQ is still going strong, but i think SoE is going to end up giving normal eq idiots the power that MQ gives you as part of the standard client. its going to be stupid.

Well anyway, it was crazy. when i quit eq i moved away from the idiots at SoE and well i admit i really wanted to go back, but.. hehe not after that. .

I have really no way to end this so i will just say yay for MQ, boo for EQ.

10000 people in a zone? On the contrary, every zone I go to pretty much has very few people in it, save for places like BoT.

Lag? Maybe it's time to upgrade that Riva 128 and the PII ;)

I remember when knowing how to spell meant something too.

I don't know about other people, but I don't use MQ to have an advantage over other people... I use it to get access to information SoE should have provided in the first place... and to ward off carpal tunnel.

As far as I'm concerned, turning EQ from a job into a game has been an improvement.

As for lag... the only zone i know that ever has more than even 500 people is the Bazaar. Outside of the bazaar, PoK maybe has 200 on average... PoT possibly 100... Other zones aren't a problem at all.. hell, if I don't go to PoK, I can spend an entire day farming and not see another character.

Maybe FV is different, but more likely Drumstix has it right. That old P1 233 you used to run won't quite cut it anymore.
