So Whenever i laod up my charcter into EQ with the currest (27th) version of MQ2 i get Divide By zero error spammed in my MQ2 chatbox. I tried a fresh compile and it still does not help. I tried taking out all of my macro's and not runnign any, and it still does not help. This error occurs when i log into game, i can sit at charcter sleect screen and not get the error, Can someone please help, not sure how to Fix, I've already done a few searches but all the ones i have seen have been for Macro's where it does the divide by zero, and i am not running any macro's.
Any help is defenitly appreciated!

EDIT: Maybe he did find what I found... and it just wasn't what he needed.
I hope the flames are not too bad. He did try, he said, searching.

I didn't find what I found via searching for that. I found it as I have been searching the boards manually and reading threads.
My guess, and the reason why I edited my original post here, is that you did find the information I found, but as you noted, it was no use to you.
At least you have your mq2chatwnd working. I'm having issues with it right now. Trying to figure out where the problem lay. I thought, though I could be wrong, that I followed the directions for installing MQ2 and the custom UI am want to use to the letter. It doesn't work right, yet.

Ok i understand now, But i've done a few simple tests on my own and found out i can log into any charcter except for my Bard.
So there must be soemthing wrong with the bard songs? or soemthing with bards in this latest version of MQ2 that makes it unpossible to use with a bard. If anyone could point me in the right direction, or tell me if my assumptions are correct then i'll be happy and maybe there is soemthing I / We/ You can do to fix it.

I have yet to try with my bard. But I know it SHOULD work with bards, there are macro's out there for them, 3 that I found today.
Eventually the answers will come. I have to go test something now to make sure I haven't fudged up MQ2 on my system and have to redo it.

Semper, are you using a special UI, or the default?
I just ran EQ to test that MQ2 is running properly, it is, and since I have a bard am thinking of logging him in to see if I get the same thing.
Back soon!

Ok, I can't say anything about that, I have downloaded it but not yet put it in place. It could be something about that UI. Try loading game, no MQ2 changing UI for bard to default camp and load MQ2 and EQ and see what happens.
I did just log in with my bard and I got no errors. I'm not using default UI but nothing horribly fancy, just a few windows that are modified.
Verified that MQ was working (target anything and turn away and type '/face' and see if it turns you to face the mob) and it was.
I still do not seem to have a MQ2ChatWnd going, though, and that is part of my problem. Once I get that figured out I should be good.
We've been there before

Cranky those are only for Macro's arent they? I looked and thought thet those were just used to put in macro;'s to stop this from happenng. I have 0 macro's running and i get this error.

you are getting the error from your UI. Go to the UI section and read through the UI thread you are using. The frequency UI has been updated to fix the error (I don't play a bard so not sure for bards, but i bet you could find your answer there.) If the answer isn't there ask it in the UI thread cause that is what is causing your error.

I play a bard, and if you get the Fixes, it works fine.
