How to Donate to the Macroquest developers!

Please use the following link for donation information and links. This thread is very old, does not get updated regularly, and the new system will automatically grant you VIP if you donate to Lax or all developers (I can't automate it for donating to other specific developers because of how PayPal works, sorry). - Lax
http://macroquest2.com/main.php?p=donate
Donors of non-trivial sums (definition of trivial at the developers' discretion. don't donate a penny to try to get VIP. The average is $10, and that is plenty) to one or more developers get access to the flame-proof VIP forums, where the wankers that take without giving and then complain about it are not!
Signup for paypal here!

Donate to all active developers by following these links
NOTE: These donations go through Lax, and will be split between active developers based on your choice here.
Split evenly between active developers:

Split based on recent work:

Has anyone donated yet? I would've donated $10 or so, but I drained my paypal business account since I don't use it anymore.
EDIT: I just donated $5, I think everyone who uses mq should give at least that.

I'm still waiting to see if the tradeskill funtions can be restored sometime soon. It worked great for the few days I had used it.
Seriously... expect a donation from me once the features I used work with the new UI.

Donated. Many thanks bud, even if we don't see another version of MQ that works with the new UI. I still love ya! :)

Only been using it for a month but donated because I started having more fun writing the macros than I did playing the game.
Thanks,

Not much but...

I sent you $10 today.
I figured that it's worth it for the time I used it with the old UI, just hope that a new version that works with the new UI will arrive soon.

If you guys actually fixed MQ ( click ) then i would be willing to donate aroudn 50$ or so, i would make that back easy. But until you have it openly ready to download or someone sends a working clicky version of it to me. There will be no donations for nothing you guys have done yet.

Wow, feel the love..
I'll send you money, when I can make more back.

How often do you think you'll have projects which do not recognize previous "donations" as valid?
I think that's one of the problems with accepting donations at all, people think you owe them something, then the new people feel indignant since they didn't receive any of the money, which turns into a vicious circle.
I know everyone wants to feel their time is valued, just maybe there is some other way to contribute to Open Source projects without just putting it into one person's hands(to run off with).

Anyone want to setup an Open Source Trust Fund site?

Donated back before the "change". Would donate again, but as my compiling expertise ends with gcc, I'm waiting to see if there is something I'll be able to use before donating to the developers for creating something I can use. :)

Donated fifty bucks. =)
What's up with the conditional posts? It's not quite a donation if you want to get something out of it.

I'm a firm believer in value given for value received. TANSTAFL and all that. :)
