Actually I've seen people in guilds I was in say stuff like "ooo sony added x new feature this patch" when it was really something we added in mq2.. lol..
i had to hold myself back from sending them a tell and saying "shhh thats not an eq feature" ;)

You know.. I was wondering if that was the HUD feature. I coudn't quite figure out what the HUD was going to be (no screen shots, and I didn't spend the time to read it).

Every time I see something new in EQ, I have to unload MQ to figure out if I can say anything about it. The last one that almost got me was the information in the item inspec window.

The HUD is great! thanks Dev.

I had a guildie ask in guild chat a couple nights ago, what the command was to auto-place an item in your inventory while it's on the cursor... All I'd mention was that EQ couldn't do that.

Gawds, it's HARD to not automaticaly answer the usual question you see in the Bazaar, "When does (insert proc or clicky here) proc?"

/autoinv is a valid EQ command, not MQ added.

Umm. this is a sign to Unplug all your plugins and run normal EQ for a day :)

All weapons proc's required levels are now shown in default EQ, along with MQ2's extra info stuff. Just thought you should know

And you would be wrong...

/autoinv is a valid EverQuest command...

Oops... Someone beat me to it.

/em stands mesmerized by ap50's avatar

I haven't been able to play EQ for a few weeks, and it will be maybe a month or so before I'm able to play again.... so I only have two things to say:

1) HUD, what HUD? (post screenshots for a no-eq loser like me!)
2) ap50 has outdone himself and that icon is a bit of a HUD in its own right

I about started telling my guild about the pet owner in parenthesis under the pet's name. Then I looked at my other comp which wasn't running MQ2. I'm now wary of mentioning usefull improvement, afriad that sony has actually nothing to do with them.

Very nice, and thank you very much, devs.

Useful improvements only come when they steal MQ2 code :)

Heh, that happens all too often after a patch, ain' gonna do it by choice :)

Required yes, but many items are recommended levels, and I don't believe many if any of them show the proc or click levels. For instance, the Steward Bloodstained Mantle can be clicked at level 1 according to MQ, but has a recommended level of 43, and displays NO click level.

Did you check the required level for the effect? That's what's showing what level things proc now.

um...

Is that clear now?

:D

I understand that some items have a required level to proc or click, but not all do. Some show a recommended level, but as I recall those don't show the level needed to click or proc. MQ however does display the necessary level.

I don't see what's so hard about this. Seriously, am I being obtuse?

And for that matter, I think I'm gonna drop it, unless someone wants to move it elsewhere. doesn't belong here.
