what i want to do now is find the name of the person who scored the crit hit i want to match it to my player name and if its the same move it on to a sub called "crits" if its not the same i want to discard it.

Since I don't know exactly what a crit message is formatted like this is just a guess.

This assumes that the person's name who scored the crit appears directly before "scores a critical hit!" with no other text.

Assuming the string with the critical hit message is called "CritMessage", you can:
