ok guy I probley didnt read the fucking manual your going to say but I did. I followed the manual and have been running macro quest for 1 week and it is awsome. Thank you so much for this program and all who support it . The problem I have is after the patch last night I log in and it says incorect client version. I am guessing here that since patch there must need to be a new zip version of mq that I need to download and compile but I am not finding that anywere. Is this the case or what should I do. Any help other than RTFM would be apreciated .

You get to wait until it's updated for the patch. You have to wait for updates after EVERY patch. Get used to it.

Everytime there is a patch the developers have to spend time finding the new offsets. Depending on structure changes etc. this can take varying amounts of time.

In general there is a new zip up the same day as a patch, just keep watching the boards for an announcement.

Until then, don't play EQ or play it without MQ.

ANY dumbass can compile MQ2. It is NOT difficult. Hell, they give you step-by-step instructions, sometimes with PICTURES.
I did it. That's proof alone that it doesn't take any thought.
