I wonder how many people will follow #5 and wipeout basically all of thier config information?
I think this is the SOE version of re-install windows...

I loved the "Quite often your EverQuest client files and folders can become corrupted" line. Gee, I wonder how that can happen, SOE? Surely it wouldn't happen to have anything to do with your programming?

Why would they ever want to implement it?
SOE has contracts with Intel, Creative, Nvidia, etc with partnerships and discounts etc.
SOE must get kickbacks on these deals, so there goal would be to convice people to upgrade as much and as often as possible.

Hmm, so they recognise that EQplaynice exists, but won;t take the simple step to implement it themselves.

They are in the business to make money. To SOE Money > Scruples, period.
