Stilgar,
In a serious answer to your question, Yes, MQ is crashing on zone about every 2-8 zonings, randomly. Its happened on one of my computers more then the others, this started happening right after the March 16th patch.
Of the 3 other friends I communicate with regularly who also use MQ, they also crash as often as my main computer does.
Speculation as to why: About a year ago, MQ used to do this. The result was they suspended all MQ activity during zoning. This worked for the most part. When Lax came onto the project, this seemed like one of the first things that got fixed and the long delay after zoning was gone. Since it has creeped back in, its a safe bet that the monitoring of zoning is borked and that MQ is writing to memory space that's not ready to accept the detours, hence the unlucky random crash, but only if some activity happens while zoning. (this is just a guess)
The next step of course is to have a bunch of us load up our debuggers on our client machines to try to capture the crash and post the dump.
