I was so looking forward to some "my MQ is not working" type posts this morning with the patch... But nooooo... it seems they have all been taught.

Okay... I'm fairly new to MQ. I've never been through a patch.. I'm aware that each patch breaks MQ and it needs to be recompiled.. my question is, do I need to wait for a new zip... do I just re-run mqauth and recompile... is there a way for me (a terrible C programmer) to update the code and recompile myself?

I hate to be a nuisance, but this whole thing is new to me... just kinda curious as to what the quickest way to get MQ working again on my comp would be.

Thanks for the help. /flameshield on :)

Wait for a new zip. As you get more confident, check the development threads and gank the new offsets from there and put them in the appropriate files.

hmm.. Dev threads post the new offsets? :) I'll give that a shot. Worst case, it'll just stay broken till the new zip is posted. Thanks for the help.

These guys are so freaking fast with the offsets I don't even bother with finding them myself. Then again, about half the time the structures of the information are changed and use peions can't do anything until the devs "fix" things.
