The xmp parser for npctrade doesnt seem to be working properly, it always moves the mouse to the position of the button relative to 0,0

We need to rewrite /click to take advantage of the actual windows and GetChildItem instead of this move mouse to x,y and click bs.

Code: Select all

CXWnd *button=((CSidlScreenWnd*)pGiveWnd)->GetChildItem("whatever the screen id for the button is");
((CSidlScreenWnd*)pGiveWnd)->WndNotification(button,XWM_LCLICK,0);

It's been talked about. My concern is needing that code for every single button, window, etc. There are a lot of locations you know :)

At the time I put together the mouse routines it was the best generic solution we had, since we didn't have direct access to the functions as we do now. Now I'm just trying to think of a way to do it without turning 80 lines of code into 8000.

I'll start a new thread in General Development and we'll start looking at what we can do.
