What is the current version?

Ok I downloaded the source from CVS and compiled. The source listest when I mouse over the icon in the tray says SRC - 20030516. I have all kinds of problems with this one. When I run any macro, it usually cashes EQ.

Now I did find a file located at:

http://macroquest2.com/downloads/SRC-20030522.zip

when compiled is listed as SRC - 20030522 in the tray when moused over.

This one seems more stable but all of the posts suggest downloading MQ from cvs. Which one is the correct one to be using?

CVS is going to be the most up-to-date. the src zip is simply a zipped snapshot of the CVS, and can fall out of date quickly.

CVS is all you should worry about for code. For some reason the version has not changed since the date you see 3-16. I don't know what happened after that, but CVS is the most current.

The only 'version' information that is important now is the CVS version based on what you see when you update from CVS.

The internal version number as assigned/changed in the project files is really unimportant for our uses at this point.

I do keep sort of unofficial track... the compiled EQLib.dll is really about version 2.0.2. MacroQuest.exe hasn't changed in forever, so that is the same.

As to the version when you mouse over the icon... that should really be updated to reflect what patch of EQ it works with... but I don't remember when the last patch was.
