Nevermind.....
I would presume debugging EQ and setting a breakpoint at the end of the checker routine. Then run it with your code and run it without. Compare the values.

You might find that EQ never tags your breakpoint, in which case we know that SoE is not useing that memcheck anymore. I am at work without softice or I would look at this. Thy are using it. Was one of the first things I checked. I'm trying to figure it out now, but I'm kinda confused. It looks a lot different from the old one, or maybe it is me that's thinking wrong.

DKAA did those memcheck routines (I think). I'd be interested in seeing his take on the subject before rushing into it...he might be able to do it quickly and efficiently given his familiarity with it.
