Wine requirements
What is required to be installed in the wine prefix for MQ2 to run? MQ2 runs fine in my default prefix, but crashes in my EQ 32 bit prefix. Is it possible to run MQ2 and EQ under wine any more?

Fixed. WMI was what was missing.

Can you do us a favor and write up what you had to do to get EQGame + Launcher + MQ2 working in wine/linux

I had this all working years ago, but deleted the wine prefix after I quit. I have EQ working fine, but it crashes to desktop when MQ2 is active.
So far what I know is that EQ needs to run in a 32bit prefix. You need to install the 32bit libraries for your linux video drivers. You need to run for the 32bit prefix, winetricks corefonts d3dx9_43 wmi and set it to run as windows 7
