bah , snuck in while I was setting up for other thread =P

If your gonna host the shebang feel free to pull the files I put up in the other thread. I use a different bigbank, but its updated for the extra 2 share slots. The other windows I posted are adjusted for displaying level 100+ better, plug aggro meters into group/extended windows.

The additional files didn't correctly link on other thread. I'm looking at those windows you posted now, I haven't touched those much so I'll put them in the UI if they all end up working well.

Ok using warlocks Group/Extended Target Window

Target window was too mis-aligned, I changed Font and redid alignment.

Grabbed Bigbank window from di28889's non-MQ version

I'm changing the Player Window to be a bit more streamlined and less bulky. Seeing you AGI/STA and crap has no purpose.

You'd have to modify the inventory window xml to reorder the slots.

aye like judge said , you will have to edit the XML file to do so.

Unless someone else has a decent WYSIWYG style editor its pretty much making adjustments then loading them ingame to see how badly you screwed up. Lotsa fun =)

Code: Select all

  <InvSlot item="ContainerSlot1">
    <ScreenID>ContainerSlot1</ScreenID>
    <RelativePosition>true</RelativePosition>
    <Location>
      <X>1</X>
      <Y>23</Y>
    </Location>
    <Size>
      <CX>35</CX>
      <CY>35</CY>
    </Size>
    <Background>A_SquareBtnPressed</Background>
    <EQType>-1</EQType>
    <Style_VScroll>false</Style_VScroll>
    <Style_HScroll>false</Style_HScroll>
    <Style_Transparent>false</Style_Transparent>
    <TooltipReference/>
  </InvSlot>
your going to want to keep the X position the same for 5 slots, adjust the Y slot for spacing. Then of course move the X position over for the next 5, rinse and repeat for 40 slots. Then figure out where you want the buttons (if any) like done, combine, minimize. And of course the overall size alterations.

its actually fun tinkering with it (for me anyways) but thats about my level of ability, I am by no means an expert. EQInterface has some very helpful suggestions and programs if your wanting to get serious about editing the EQ UI. Personally I have played with a few of the XML editors, with out spending some cash the one I find I like is Notepadd++

I have not Played in years so not sure if it still works but here you go, it seem to work still as I was only on to do the UI update in the Guild Hall

http://di28889.com/MQ2HUD.ini

there is a ton of junk in it from when I did Dain missions. you could delete it, its zone specific thou for the Dain part

not sure if your worried about it ... or I might be misreading the file, but you might want to edit off the toon specific section of the ini there.

appreciate you sharing though, helps in figuring stuff out =)

Just come across this and already loving it. I have one request if anyone is likeminded to do it for me:

Can I have a Xtarget box that is built like this:

Xtar1 Xtar3 Xtar5

Xtar2 Xtar4 Xtar6

etc

Real-estate on a laptop running in windowed mode is at a premium for me so having it horizontal and tight together is what I'd love.

Will donate to Paypal £10 if someone can do this!

Sorry Icon missed your post.

If your still interested in that style of an extended window you can try
http://www.eqinterface.com/downloads/fi ... hp?id=6459

its a few bits together but one of them is the extended target window you describe I believe.

if you want it modified with MQ2 code like whats in this UI, give a holler I can add it in.
