can't open macro file

Post by Paintedeyes » Thu Jan 13, 2011 11:48 am

I'm sure this question is a HUGE noob question. I'm trying to load up macro and i'm getting that message. Possibly I added it to the wrong folder in the wrong format? I searched all over so pls dont flame me for not searching. Thanks!

Macros are text files with a .Mac extension. They should be placed in the macro folder inside your release folder. Once you have that done you can issue /macro macroname.mac inside the macroquest window.

Check your macro name in the folder as olain mentioned. Notepad names it .txt by default so make sure its mymacro.mac and not mymacro.txt
