what do i use to write the darn things ..... help

Post by bubbabear » Mon Jan 06, 2003 6:43 pm

i have read quite a bit here about diffrent macros. i look at the code and all seems fine except for one thing. call me dumb if you wish but i have searched and can not find what you cut and paste the macro to.

in other words is ther a MACRO PROGAM writer that needs to be downloaded that will open a blank macro for the cut/paste editing? do i use a html editor and save it in .mac format.

please give a little hint as to where i go from here

thank you

*cough*
Notepad.
start/programs/accessories/notepad. :)

Then you just save it as a .mac instead of as a .txt.

If you can't seem to do that, then go to TOOLS/folder options in your windows explorer and click the "file types" tab. Then you uncheck the "hide file extentions for known file types."
