what's wrong with my custombind, it doesn't do anything in MQ2Custombinds.txt

and in Macroquest.ini

I thought the last part went in server_charname.cfg , not macroquest.ini

I could be wrong though. . .

1. Shouldn't it be FULLSCREEN, not FULLSREEN?

2. Are NETSTAT and FULLSCREEN keys? Shouldn't it be Alt-Enter and F11 or such?

3. Are you adding these to INIs manually, or ingame?

4. When you tried them, was MQ2CustomBind loaded?

2. Yes, and it's better practice to /keypress the actual bind name then the buttons. /keypress NETSTAT will toggle the hud regardless of what key it's bound to.

5. You can put the bind stuff in .cfg files if you like. I used to keep some of mine in character cfgs because I used different binds for different characters.

my Fraps key is alt+F1 so i'd like when i press it to make a movie that it removes things like HUD and mq2caption
is there a possibility that there is a conflict between fraps and mq2 because i use the same key combo ?

Actually, now that I tried it, the first way you posted works too. You just had the syntax wrong a bit.
You just need a space after /multiline otherwise it thinks the semicolon is part of the command and you get a "DoCommand - Couldn't parse..." error.

I have tried to use this to video some events but the code posted in this thread does not remove my MQ Hud. Any help to temporarily remove my Hud would be appreciated.

Toggles the HUD on and off.
