CTD with ItemDisplay

Post by MQ_Wannabe » Thu Jul 20, 2006 4:28 pm

Not sure this is where its supposedto be posted, but Lax posted on IS site that ISXEQ questions should be here, so here we go.

Ive used ItemDisplay for a while now, but if I load it, and click a link, I instantly CTD. Only happened since that 'ninja' patch yesterday (or tuesday, cant remember). Dont know if that helps, I dont get the send error to <whoever> that usually happens when IS crashes...

This happenin to anyone else?

Yes, I just compiled, set up ISXEQ myself last night. Haven't really used it before, but I did notice it all just goes away with current zip if you try to open any link. Didn't have a debugger running at the time though...
Ha. NM, looks like a ninja .zip posted. :p
Edit: Something wrong with the ISXEQ.sln file, but I used the one from last zip, and compiled fine...

Um, yeah. Be less specific, please.

You can download the files you need from ISMods, precompiled care of Red.
Fuck writing MQ2 macros. Go with IS scripts; IS Rules!

Sorry if I wasn't specific enough. VS7 said it wasn't a valid solution file. lol Most likely formatted for 2005? not sure.
Everything's working fine compiled with the older copy.
EDIT: Opened up new copy in editor, and yes, isxeq.sln is for version 8 now.

This is my mistake. I had someone take the file to update it and remove the MQ2 stuff and they told me they had Visual Studio .NET ..but clearly they did not!

Anyway, until the next zip comes out use this:

http://www.macroquest2.com/downloads/ISXEQ.sln

..it will be fixed with the next released MQ2 zip file.

Damn i need to get Studio .Net

I usually just get the dll's from IsMods, and those are the ones i was referring to, when i mentioned getting CTD'd for clickin items.

Bah. Why start a new thread? You guys know now... I told ya about it. hehe
Oh, MQ_Wannabe, search around a little. There's a free version of Microsoft VC++ 2005 Express you can download direct from Microsoft. Most of the links to setup instructions and whatnot are in ViP section. (not sure of your status or I'd link ya one.)
