We have determined that usage of MacroQuest is in fact cheating, so we removed all MacroQuest-related material from the web site.

Dont listen to Lax, he is just pissed because SOE have purchased all the source code of MQ2 and are about to include every feature in the next update. MQ2Twist is now an Ingame Function, you just need to ask a GM to switch it on, Now SOE own the source you can just send a tell to a GM and explain you used to use MQ2Twist and could they enable it for your bard.

I found an even easier way to get mine working again and didn't have to wait for a GM to be on the same time I was. Just send them a petition explaining how your MQ doesn't work nearly as well without MQ2Twist and they update your account for you while you are gone.
