I installed MS Visual Studio .NET on one of my computers. When I compiled the last 2 sources, it's not linking properly. I didn't catch it the first time, because of the macroquest2.exe file that in the source (I don't run macros with it, just use it for the map enchance and extra info) seems to work fine for what I use it for. So this time, since I noticed the date on that file was 9-24-2004 while everything else was todays date (1-30-2005).
So I looked through my logs on it, apparently the linker is linking MQ2Chat (not making an .exe though), and even if i tell it to link mq2main, I don't get the macroquest2.exe file I'm expecting.
I just had an idea that came to me, and that was the macroquest2.exe file hasn't changed since then, just the other files, if that is right, then please tell me. otherwise I'd appreciate some help or maybe what search words to search for that says how to make the macroquest2.exe file.
I was using a trial version of VS 2003 .NET, but the crack for it was just a date changer which doesn't work (though I think I updated it once, so maybe if I reinstall it and not update it). And I download the beta they have now, but as I posted elsewhere, that isn't working 100%.
I thinking though, it's the case of the macroquest2.exe file hasn't been updated since 9/24, and it's just the dll's that have been updated?
thanks
