Pet and mob spam.

I have seen on several occasions that a pet will spam "(so and so) is my master" and mobs I have seen spamming "I have no master", over and over again. This has happened to me as well. I unloaded MQ2 and crashed to the desktop. After reboot, I logged in and had the same problem(no MQ2 loaded), but I did have the Frequency UI still up from before crash.

After loading the default UI, the spam stopped immediately.

My question is, is there anyone having similar problems? (not running this UI) Sorry I dont have any more technical info and if you can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

P.S. I have done an extensive search on the issue prior to posting, all in vain.

Pet and mob spam

Let me rephrase a littlle...

I beleive there is an in-game command to have your pet say who their master is. They will reply "joe-bob"(or whatever PC name)"is my master"

Something with the UI, I think, is making them say it non-stop. It will fill the chat window with endless spam until the pet or mob is killed. (or IU unloaded)

The people around me were saying that it is someone hacking the game with MQ2. Reports to GM's were made and everything, but nothing has come of it.

My theory is that if it is the UI, the target window may be to blame. It essentially tells you what class of mob it is, warrior, necro, etc. I could be wrong though.

I just wanted to bring this up as I have seen other people complaining in POK that someone was spamming, but not due to me.(I was on the other side of the zone in default UI and no MQ2 loaded.)

My question is if anyone else has experienced it and is it a bug with MQ2, the UI, or the game itself.

The game itself but with the distinct possibility of PEBKAC.

UI's do not send commands, they read information.

MQ does not send commands by itself, Plugins or Macros tell it to do that.

Spam is a nasty substance in a can mostly eaten by college students due to it's price.

Bugs are mostly insects.

This problem? Well, it stems from you fucking something up. If it was a game problem it would have been mass-reported and not just a 2 time incident.

SPAM: Canned meat substance made from ham, that is eaten more in the islands of Hawai`i, per capita, than anywhere else in the U.S.

I just had to add that, and yes, it is true.

Neo, I didn't need to look it up, I used to live there, it's a fact of life. LOL

Great in fried rice, chopped and fried, and oh so many other ways.
It grows on ya. LOL Remember, most everything in Hawai`i is imported so SPAM is one of the cheepest meats you can buy.

Look, I read the manual, I read the criteria for posting in this forum, I had a question and worded it the best that I could.

As far as fucking something up, I was doing everything exactly the same way as always, according to the directions. Only Frequency UI loaded and MQ2 to run it, no plugins, no macros, nothing. As for the second time it happened to me, I didnt even have MQ2 loaded, just the UI.

Try to bring up a possible issue that may have an impact on everyone and all I get is crapped on.

Thanks guys.
