Read through the brewing topic about the /itemtarget issues. See if any match up with your settings.

So people are having problems with /itemtarget for some reason. Try doing a search on the site and see if you can find anyone else having the problem and see if they found a fix for it.

Quick suggestion for the macros:
Let us set the max skill we want to get to when we run the macro. For instance, if I just type /fletching I'll go to 250 in fletching assuming I don't stop it early or run out of money or anything. But, if I typed /fletching 200 then I'd stop at 200. Just a suggestion I thought of as I scrambled to set down my pizza and stop the fletching macro before I went over 200 =P

The macros (at least the baking one for sure) has a SkillMaxWanted in the mac file that you can change.

You can change the skill you want to go to. If you look in the macro at the top it says:

Code: Select all

| Before are the settings you need to change for you.
| This Macro can take you up to 250 in fletching.
| SkillMaxWanted can be change to what skill you want to stop at.
And you would change it here:

Code: Select all

| ************************************************
| * Change these settings to what you want. *
| ************************************************

    /varset MerchantName "Bansama Nysawi"
    /varset SkillMaxWanted 250

| ************************************************
| ************************************************
I didn't really want to use parameters on the tradekskill macros, I have always hated typing the extra parameters that a lot of people use when you start a macro, cause if something were to go wrong in it, you have to take the time and type the whole thing out again. I would rather set up a ini file or have it as a varible inside the macro that you could change.

Yeah, I know that you can easily change the variable to state what skill you want to go up to, but after I changed it in one macro I downloaded a newer version of the macro and didn't think to change it again since I had once already (albeit in the old version). But, not a huge deal, so I'll let you design your macros however you'd like. Just thought I'd suggest it =)

I tried the pottery macro and the part to find a path between the two merchants did not work well. I always ended up stucked under the stairs that leads to the second merchant. I will try out a few things and see if I come up with anything.

It may be lag. Somone else told me that and it was because of video lag, once they lowered all of there clip plane and other options it worked. Try that and see how it works.

using the baking macro out of the box as it were... character kept buying loaf of bread... i stopped it after it dropped over 500 on teh ground... so i had 50 stacks in my inventory and another 500+ loaves on the ground. Not sure why or what...

Other issue... I ran mac when I had all those loves of bread in my inventory ( i did this 3 times before posting here) to see if it would sell it back... and the mac just freezes at the sell activity.

You were right. That was video lag. I reduced resolution and clip plane and it worked like a charm. Have to makes sure levitation is not on too.

You have to be sure to do the patch for the ${selectitem} fix. You may want to redownload and recompile and if that doesn't work try this:

http://macroquest2.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=8508

I'm not sure if that will fix your problem or not, EQ has patched since then and we have new offsets now.

Ok, I want to see what you all think about this idea for the tailoring one. It starts off in East Karana and kills spiders and gathers spider silk. As it gathers spider slik it makes silk swatches. Once it gathers 1 bag of silk swatches it will then run to North Karana, where it gets 4 bags of "packet of kiola sap"s, then it runs through east karana, qeynos hills, then to qeynos, then goes to PoK. There it will make the Heady Kiolas. After that it will run to the bazaar, where it will buy the vials of viscous mana of of players. On every server there are always people selling at least about 500 of those vials. If the bazaar is out of them, I will wait there till someone is selling it. (Here is where a lot of people are probably thinking that it wont work. Because how are you going to buy from people in the bazaar without running into walls and such. Don't worry about that. I have that worked out already. :D ) Once it has those it will buy the patterns in the bazaar depending on what skill you are at, then combine. After the combines it will then run back to East Karana and start over. I will have all the run paths for hunting the spiders so you dont get stuck and all the run paths for buying in the bazaar. It sounds like a lot of work, but I already have a lot of that done. And this will probably take more time then any other macro to skill up then I have made so far, but you will be able to get to 158 in tailoring without having to do anything but have money on you. I will set up a varible to have the max price that you will pay for the vials too.
