I still marvel about the comment being posted so many times over th e last few years, epsecially the last 18 months or so. While the fact that the project is open source certainly shoots the idea of security in the foot, a good portion of the reason it's such an excelent utility is quit frankly BECAUSE it is open source. Most of the current Devs and macro writers wouldn't be here if it wasn't, the origional Devs are all for the most part gone on to greener pastures due to boredom or leaving EQ, so in short, the program would most likely have died off long ago.

Should people put a bit more effort into finding information thats already been posted, sure, but complaining that the project is open source at this stage in the game is basically telling all those devs who worked on it because it was that their contributions were shit. And that aint cool.
